Every BMR project begins on paper long before any ground is broken. Your designer visits your property for a complimentary consultation, evaluates your yard, and creates a custom 3D design built specifically for your space.

Once the design is approved, BMR handles all permit applications and required utility line locates on your behalf. You do not manage the permit process. We do.

Every BMR excavation is handcrafted and customized to your backyard. With permits approved and utilities located, our excavator sets forms and digs your pool to the exact dimensions of your approved design.

This is where the structural integrity of your pool is established. BMR builds every pool shell on a continuous perimeter beam with upgraded steel using 4x #4 rebar.

Deck dowels are set during this phase to tie in the future concrete deck to the pool shell. Grounding clamps and bond wire are installed as standard to meet electrical safety requirements. Every connection point is tied, verified, and inspected before concrete gunite is applied over the cage.

All BMR pool plumbing is professionally installed using Schedule 40 PVC. Every circulation system contains 2 anti-vortex VGB-compliant safety drains and 2 skimmers that are independently plumbed, meaning each can be isolated and serviced without disrupting the other systems in your pool.

Spa plumbing is upgraded as standard with 6 dedicated spa returns, providing full hydrotherapy coverage. Water features, overflows, and fill lines are run as separate dedicated circuits. Every plumbing line is pressure-testedbefore any concrete is applied over it. If a connection does not hold pressure, it does not get buried.

Your pool truly takes shape during the gunite phase. A dry-mix concrete is pneumatically applied through a hose at high velocity over the steel cage, creating a dense, uniform shell that conforms precisely to the custom contours of your design.

Steps, bench seating, tanning ledges, sun shelves, and any custom entry features are hand-sculpted during this phase by experienced craftsmen who shape the gunite while it is being applied. The completed gunite shell carries a limited lifetime structural warranty, non-transferable, for as long as the original buyer owns the home.

All pool electrical work is professionally installed by a master electrician. Every system is installed within local code requirements and inspected before the project proceeds to the next phase. A dedicated GFCI breaker is installed as standard, and the entire pool perimeter is bonded with clamps to meet safety grounding requirements.

Tile and coping is handcrafted by master stone masons. This work frames the entire pool and is one of the most visible expressions of your design choices. Both the pool and spa waterline are tiled, delivering a premium finish at the water's edge.

Coping is available in 12-inch and 16-inch profiles in 3 cm or 5 cm. Ledger stone veneering is available for raised bond beams and elevated walls, adding texture and dimension to the finished pool surround.

BMR decks are handcrafted and customized to your backyard. Once all electrical, plumbing, gas, and drainage lines are complete and inspected, deck forms are set according to your approved design plan.

PVC S&D 4-inch solid drain pipe is included as standard in all deck installations to manage surface drainage away from the pool and home.

The final phase of construction is the application of your interior finish, the surface your water touches and your family feels beneath their feet every time they swim. BMR recommends a variety of selections for interior finish, and your designer will walk you through the options during your consultation.

Once the interior finish is applied, the pool is filled, and the startup process begins. Equipment is started, water chemistry is balanced, and your project manager walks you through your new system before handing it over to you.
